Jigsaw’s Trainer is a virtual reality (VR) platform for adaptive scenario-based training. I worked with Georgetown Law School’s Center for Innovations in Community Safety to develop new 3D virtual reality scenarios to provide active bystandership training to police departments across the United States.

I worked with Professor Evan Barba in the Communications, Culture and Technology department at Georgetown Graduate School to develop 3D models, animations, and program the live interactions using Google dialogflow and Unity. We have addapted the framework of Google’s product into an immersive training simulation that allows Georgetown Law’s CICS team to assess the effectiveness of their ABLE training–Active Bystandership for Law Enforcement.

From research fellow to project manager, I was able to play many roles in this ongoing project. I spearheaded development and was responsible for the daily operations, interfaced with representatives from Google, Meta, and Georgetown Law, and oversaw technical artistry.
